Crystal Apple :: Digital Voice Award Winner!
The Digital Voice Awards (DVA) are sponsored by the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) and honor exemplary classroom technology projects in Los Angeles county.
In the past ten years, Mrs. Yollis and her students have won two "Best Overall Elementary Project" DVA awards and several of her students have won individual DVAs. This year is the tenth anniversary of the awards. Mrs. Yollis is thrilled to be selected for the 10th anniversary Crystal Apple award. The Crystal Apple award is bestowed upon ten Los Angeles County Teachers to honor their innovative technology projects and creative teaching practices.
Mrs. Drake, from LACOE, came to the classroom to present Mrs. Yollis with the Crystal Apple.

The 10th Anniversary Digital Voice Awards Celebration webcast it tomorrow, May 21, 2015! The 2015 Digital Voice Awards (DVA) honors exemplary classroom instructional technology projects from educators from schools across Los Angeles County. Projects are created with a variety of technology tools in areas across the K-12 curriculum. Projects align and reflect the California standards, including the Common Core State Standards, and are created by individual students, student teams, whole classrooms of students, and even school-wide and global projects!
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Digital Voice Awards, ten teachers were selected to receive the Crystal Apple award. The Crystal Apple honors teachers who innovate with technology projects and display creative teaching practices to make an engaging environment for their students. The Crystal Apple honorees serve as a model for educators across Los Angeles County and beyond!
